Research shows that isolation is a major contributing factor to most forms of mental illness. In these highly divisive times, the Bridge Interfaith Ministry is dedicated to fostering connection across diverse faith communities to address the stigma that leaves so many feeling isolated and alone. Recognizing that mental illness affects individuals regardless of religion, politics, race, ethnicity, or gender expression, the Bridge Interfaith Ministry aims to offer hope and support to those who may be suffering in silence. While inspired by a Christian ideal of love, compassion and service, we embrace a spirit of inclusivity that extends beyond any single faith and recognizes the inherent worth and dignity of all individuals.
By contributing to this ministry, your gift will help to provide financial support for uninsured or underinsured clients in need in order to make treatment more accessible. Although every effort is made to link clients with appropriate resources in the community, funds may be used at times to bridge gaps in service for clients who are struggling with basic survival needs. In some emergency situations, funds have been used to assist with challenges such as food, housing, transportation and utilities. Your support will help us bring the light of hope and faith to those who feel desolate and alone. Together we can break the barriers of stigma and bridge the gap from hurting to healing.
